Back then, I had watched 3 episodes that had aired on CBS and thought the production quality was a bit...cheesy. That opinion hasn't changed much in that the studio/green screen they sometimes act in front of is..well, too fake. That aside, the other day, I was sent home from work from being sick and I spent the rest of the afternoon watching 5 episodes of this show on SyFy. The rest of the weekend, I was aching to find out what happens since I remember the show was not renewed for a second season. (All you Moonlight fans are probably saying "duh, where have you been?")
So, I ventured out this past weekend and bought myself the complete series dvd for 20 bucks at Target and I've spent the rest of this sick time watching all of the 16 episodes. All I gotta say is...WHAT A SHAME that the show was cancelled. I really got wrapped up in the whole story and all of the characters have grown on me. It really leaves you wanting more and I can see why some fans still petition to bring the show back. CBS has got to be STUPID for canceling a vampire show just before the vampire hype picked up. I also partially blame the writer's strike, as this show was in the midst of all that madness too. This is my plea to CBS to BRING IT BACK! Seeing as how their Three Rivers show (also with O'Loughlin) didn't pan out, perhaps they can jump back on the Vamp-wagon.
In other news, the new preview for the Predators movie was released. Did you hear me? PREDATORS!!!!
