I think I just applied to a scam from Craigslist. Its for a "marketing" company in Hollywood. The post seemed realistic enough, even with an HR contact and a web address. I checked out the website, looked kind of like a stock site, but some work had been done. Even a location address. Although my gut instinct told me not to, I sent my resume anyway. Now, the only personal info I have on my resume is my name and my phone number, oh and the email address I sent the email through.
I don't know what they could possibly do with that info, besides spread the word on my awesomeness....anyway, I shouldn't worry, but I googled the phone number, and it said they had regional offices in Orlando, but why with a 954 area code, which is Ft. Lauderdale? Hrrrmmmm!
Ah well, lesson learned.
Flamingo Gardens was fun today. I guess I'm officially a volunteer. I got a free button with my name on it and everything. Its basically my free pass to go in whenever! I'll be doing some design work for them...from home! Whoo hoo...as time goes on, I can maybe integrate more of myself into doing bigger and better things. I'm also supposed to help with creating a resource of the history of the place and the founders for people to read and to train the tour guides. Sounds pretty time consuming and potentially fun.
Today I went to the Seminole Hard Rock Casino with my parents, my aunts and my uncle. If you sign up for their "Player's Club" they give you 50 bucks to gamble with. They split it so that its $25 the first day you sign up and then $25 on another day. Today I won $20.20 with my free 25 bucks. FREE MONEY?! I'll take it! Going back on Sunday with my parents to try our luck at getting more!
Well, thats it...I suddenly feel bummed out again. I hate life right now.
