There's so much I want to rant about....

But I'm reeeeally holding back. Aside from that, I've gone back to handwritten journals. Its more personal and I missed it. Where to begin...

Merry Belated Christmas by the way. Had a wonderful time with the family, got some really meaningful and awesome gifts, among my favorites, a cool cover for my bed, a sweet U pillow for traveling (I always wanted one), sweet scents, awesome scarves, and my own www.zombiedestroyer.com fully registered web domain name bought and paid for!

The New Year is upon us and with that, I am throwing out the old and making new goals for this prosperous 2009. My very first goal, which I've already started and have been doing is job searching. Its so hard to find a direction, because literally, no place is hiring for production and all I seem to find are freelance bits here and there. I'm hoping Plural will finally make me an offer at least to work for them in Moda al Rescate. I do love freelancing because I meet all sorts of people...but the gypsy life is really heavily weighing on me and I need stability asap. My second goal, after having a steady job is to find a place to live on my own. Not that I mind living at home, but really...I miss my own living space and I want to get all my junk out of my parent's garage.
This is definitely going to be my biggest challenge of all time...at least for this new year. Wish me luck.

Sigh. I don't want to rant anymore.

Whats it called?

Lymph nodes? Whatever they are, they're outta whack. My whole throat on the left side is inflamed and in pain! It really sucks being sick.

So, I went to the hospital and the hooked me up to that doohicky and they looked at my pulse and they told me I was fine. What the eff? Seems like a one time thing and I am now back to being the healthiest person I know.

Whats the only issue now? I have the flu...a BAD one. And a period...a BAD one. Okay, the latter was an exaggeration, but now that the whole world knows I'm on the rag, might as well make it sound as horrible as possible right? I haven't had a bad flu like this in a long time. Where I feel bedridden and gross throated.

Alas, I hope I get better before Christmas.

Scary things...

Something is wrong with me.

Story goes like this. The night before last, Saturday night, I went out to eat with PJ. It was this yummy Peruvian/Brazilian place in Deerfield Beach that had some real authentically good Peruvian dishes. Alas, we get back to his place and hang out, watch tv, I have one beer, then I ask if I can use the shower cause I have a horrible stench of food.

I didn't bother with the shower settings, so they were set on really hot...it was kinda stuffy and sauna-ish. But alas, I started feeling a bit woozy and my ears started kind of dulling and then my vision began to tunnel. I called out to PJ and I told him, "I'm dizzy, I'm dizzy," and something along the lines of "hold me up" then I blacked out completely. It felt like I was asleep for a long time when all of a sudden I heard a guy yell "Hey!" at me and I opened my eyes and saw PJ leaning over me, while I was laying in the tub. I remember saying "what? what happened?" And apparently, story goes like this. After I said "hold me up" I started hyperventilating and went limp in his arms. He laid me down, but I had my eyes open the whole time. He said I looked dead and had yelled at me to wake up a lot of times and yelled to his roommate to call an ambulance. Weird, cause I'd only heard him yell that "hey" once.

So, in conclusion...I talked to Nick, who said it looked like a combo of me being dehydrated, in a poorly ventilated area, and pre-menstrual...which caused me to have a vasovagal episode. Something about blood pressure dropping and body shutting down in order to provide enough blood to the major organs or something.

I also took my blood pressure on my mom's monitor like 4 times and each time it said I had an irregular heartbeat. The machine works, cause we tested it on Marissa and my mom, which came out to different results. Alas, Nick pulled some strings and talked to his work buddies and I'm set to get checked out by a doctor on Wednesday. They'll be hooking me up to an ekg or getting a heart echo or something. I don't know medical terms.

Been feeling crappy lately in regards to my lungs. Asthma has been kicking my ass and now with all this passing out, I won't be able to train as hard as I want to for the ING Marathon. Mind you, I'm still going to run!

So, I will advise as to what is going on with me as the information is given to me. :/

Coming to you live from...

Pulse Art Fair in Miami. This whole week I've been working the art fair and manning a booth for local, hot, non-profit gallery Locust Projects. It's been fun cause aside from the booth, I've gotten to go around with wet heat project filming a documentary. Me being the main interviewer. I've interviewed people like photographer Spencer Tunick and painter Chuck Cross. I've worked with cool people and had great networking opportunities. And you wanna know another great tidbit? I'm writing "live" from my week old iPod Touch that I LOVE!!! Pffft to iPhones, I say. I love this thing! It's the first time I've ever bought anything worth 300 dollars and not felt buyer's remorse!!

So back to this fair. I've seen a BUTTLOAD of celebrity look-a-likes. And I list:
- Russian Julia Stiles (who sits in the booth diagonally across from me)
- Poor man's Robert Downey Jr.
- Taller Adrien Brody
- German facial haired Steve Zhan
- Much gayer Alan Cummings
- Jesus (nuff said)
- Elizabeth Shue
- Weird looking Joaquin Phoenix
- Older, gayer Jason Bateman
- Ben Foster (this one looked way too authentic, it's was a double take for me)
