Game dudes have come to full fruition over the past years, what with video games no longer being what they used to be. So, with that in mind, here are my top ten game dudes.
It starts:
10. Cloud Strife - From Final Fantasy
Okay, these images are not from any Final Fantasy games, but they are from the movie Advent Children, so he automatically has to get a spot, because when all is said and done, he is an original game dude.
I will say, although rather effeminate in his facial features, he's good looking because he's got that spunky spiky hair AND he carries a giant sword. Really? You don't find that attractive?
9. Leon S. Kennedy - From Resident Evil
I saw in another blog that this was that person's top game guy of all time. I say, NAH! You all remember Leon in RE2? When they designed him to obviously look like Leonard DiCaprio because Titanic was popular? Anyway, Leon's plasticy fake look has sure turned into something else...especially in RE4. Can you believe this picture below, I mean people actually create pictures like this? Truly, I am speechless.
Wowza.
8. Ryu Hayabusa - From Ninja Gaiden
I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a Ninja Gaiden player. Although I considered purchasing the game for my DS, Professor Layton ended up winning my heart in the end.
The reason Ryu gets a spot is mainly because he's a ninja. And if you don't know by now that I find ninjas to be absolutely irresistible, then you'll certainly know by the time this entry is over.

7. The Prince - From Prince of Persia.
Am I crazy or does this guy not have a name? Does it really matter? I mean...double ño!
He improves with age and few years of CG development:
Seriously, find me a dude that looks like that. I would like to shake his hand.
6. Nero 5. Dante - From Devil May Cry
This is a combo. Why you ask? Because most of the pictures are of them together and I was too lazy to find pictures of them apart. Maybe its also cause they look alike. I'll also say that I've never gotten the chance to play Devil May Cry, but I've always wanted to for sheer intrigue of the premise.
These are images from the 4th DMC, where they introduce Nero. I guess thats why I chose Dante to be in 5th place and Nero in 6th...cause he came first. Here's another image of them duking it out.
And when I said I couldn't find images of them separately, I lied. I found some. Here's one of each so you can see why these game dudes are on my top 10.

Yet another ridiculous, shirts optional picture...but it works yes?

He too has funky hair and carries a big sword. I'm seeing a trend here.
4. Chris Redfield - From Resident Evil
Looking rather like Stifler on steroids, this handsome game dude is a super high point for me in the upcoming RE5! Aside from the game seeming rather amazing and simply terrifying, I'm excited to see the hi-def cut scenes with this guy in them.
Admit it, you are too.
Okay okay, one more!
3. Raiden a.k.a. Jack - Metal Gear Solid
If you haven't seen MGS 4 yet, GET ON IT! That game is crazy awesome and the cut scenes are to die for. Why else would I completely fall in love with Raiden? Aside from the fact that he's a ninja (sort of). Because of his awesome fight scene in the game, I am convinced that I want a PS3.
I know he looks rather pale and girly, but he sure as hell can kick ass. And the androgynous look is done on purpose as a joke by the game's creators.

White hair (blondish), carries a sword, effeminate features...Sometimes I wonder about myself.

2. Altair - Desmond Miles...whoever you are - From Assassin's Creed
You are damn good looking for a fake guy. Not only is he a fake guy, but a guy who's face you never fully see, yet he still manages to look good. This one was a tough second choice, but I really looked, and I concluded that Altair was much better looking than some of these other guys on the countdown. Check it out:
The image above is the most of his face that I've ever seen in a picture. The rest pretty much look like this:
I think the best thing about Altair is that he was at the Maxiam release party for the game; standing next to Masi Oka of all people...whom many know as Hiro from Heroes. And by best thing, I mean that they used a real guy that has the same facial features as Altair...also meaning, such a man DOES exist!
Now FINALLY for number ONE!
1. Rikimaru - From Tenchu
Was there any question as to who number one would be? Really? I mean, c'mon, it HAD to be a ninja. Unfortunately, Rikimaru does not have any good images, because he hasn't quite been updated in recent times. Unless you count the Tenchu Z game for the 360. If thats the case, send me a picture, cause I couldn't find one. Regardless, my all time favorite is Rikimaru, not only cause he's a ninja, but just cause he's a cool ninja that kicks major ass.
Also, who doesn't think a scar across the eye is hot? It probably wouldn't look as sexy in real life, but thats why these are game dudes and thats why they're classified under "good looking."

The above image is as good a picture as its gonna get (game-wise), and I think its a pretty decent one, considering its from Tenchu 3.
And finally, this drawing, which I believe was created for the first game by someone in the actual art department. I could be wrong, but its still a good image:
So, five out of the ten on my countdown have white/blondish hair, carry swords, and kill things. I think we all know what type of dude I'm in to...at least game-wise.
Well folks, hope you enjoyed my picks. You may disagree with some of my choices, but then again, this is my blog and I can rant about whatever I want right?
I'll also take a quick moment to rant about The Incredible Hulk. A couple of quick notes:
1. BIG improvement from Ang Lee's 2003 Hulk.
2. The creators might have screwed themselves into a corner by casting Ed Norton - Mister "Take over every single movie I'm in, because I think I'm a genius." And it may be true that he's a good actor and a good writer, but seriously Mr. Norton, how bout a little humility. The reason I say creators may have screwed themselves over is because Norton doesn't seem to be the type of actor that would take on another shot at being the Hulk. I hope he proves me wrong, and I hope the sequel is just as entertaining as this one. And while we're at it, let's hope they can get him on board for The Avengers eh?
3. Although I like Liv Tyler, I didn't much like her as Betty Ross. Her Arwen speech got kind of annoying after a while. I kept thinking, "what're you doing? You're not an elf, you're the Hulk's girlfriend!"
4. I still like Iron Man MUCH more.
