This might be the longest I've been absent from blogger. I hope that I was truly missed.
What has happened in the past month that I need to update you all on? Well, I guess here goes with the exciting stuff:
1. I saw Paris Hilton in the flesh a few weeks back. It seems that Ms. Hilton was in the Miami Beach area celebrating Art Basel or something. Anyhow, my little entourage walked by this department store and we see all these people crammed in front of the doors with cameras and all these flashes going off. So, we decide to walk into the store to check it out and see that its Paris in a little leopard print dress, all skinny, with short hair.
Anyhow, afterwards, we got tired and went to the falafel place two doors down. After waiting 10 years for the stupid cashier to ring me up for my powerade drink, I turn around and see Miss Hilton waltz into the falafel place and stand 2 people behind me in line. Only then do my eyes travel to the smaller (one person per entry) door to see the mass of paparazzi blockade my exit. I think, "oh shit" to myself and had to push through heaving bodies, blinded by flashes. Not cool...
As I put the terror behind me, I told my friend to take a picture of me with the crowd in the back. As I pose, this older British dude in his little accent says, "Honestly love, you ah so much bettah lookin than her. What has she done in her life do deserve this kind of attention?" And then he went on to rave about his disgust for her.
2. Celebrity pregnancies!!! What is going on here? Why is having babies at a young age a trend now? Oh Jessica Alba, why ruin your career? Oh Jaime Lynn Spears why destroy all hope for the Spears family? Seriously guys...I don't understand this trend, but I guess if you're rich its easier when you got nannies to do all the work for you.
Movie Reviews!!!
I Am Legend
Oh Will Smith...I'm so glad that a man his age is in SUCH good shape. It might be almost enough to make him my GLMM this month...but not really enough. As for the movie, I don't want to say it was "AWESOME" cause it really wasn't, but I'll say what I say to all movies that I have a hard time reviewing. "It was entertaining." I think the dog stole the show completely. The one thing the movie does make me think is what I would do if I were in Will's situation. Living alone?! Scared of the night because of vampiric zombies?! Oh what to do?? I guess if you're in the mood for some action or feel like wasting time...go ahead and watch it.

I love the little dog Sam.
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet StreetNow this movie...absolutely enjoyable. The fact that its a musical makes it even BETTER! I truly fell in love with Johnny Depp again. I haven't felt this way about him since Edward Scissorhands...yes yes, we all like Jack Sparrow and what not...but c'mon, that character got old! Besides, Johnny SINGS! And a lovely songbird voice he has!
Anyway, the gore in this movie is so ridiculous and so perfect. Its a predictable movie, with not much of a deep plot running for it, but the characters unfold the plot of revenge through song and dance rather nicely. Check it out if you're in a gruesome mood.

Finally, I will rant about the latest Harry Potter movie. Finally borrowed it from Beeto and watched it last night. What can I say...our little children are growing up. I felt like this movie was a bit "in between" where not a whole lot was revealed. I feel like these stories have to be so character driven, and this one wasn't. They revealed some cool characters and stuff, but kind of just avoid going into any detail about them or about how Harry feels. Plus there's this character, "Dolores Umbert" or whatever, and she's a big bitch, and I hate characters like that, cause they make me want to cut my veins from annoyance. All in all though, it was a pretty good addition to the Potter movies.
Lastly, I have not nominated a GLMM this month!!! My last one, I think was Beowulf. December's man will be:
Ryan Reynolds!Talk about a serious ño!!!!

I honestly have no words. I just leave you pictures to oogle.

Seriously dude, put a shirt on! And I don't mean that as an insult!

Ok, last one...

Very good. Anyway, I'm out of fuel now. I'll definitely update more often...as this has been like a void in my heart and I am sure you too have missed me.
I'll most likely updated tomorrow...for I will see "Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem" tomorrow!!!
Oh but wait! I totally forgot to update you guys on CHIRSTMAS! This year, twas a bit of a sad one...no Cuti, no Lungs, no Cody and Christy. It was a bit of a empty Christmas, but we made the best of it and had fun.
